Rising from a funky curated music series founded at  Portland's finest music club, The Get Down, The GDFC is a dynamic and energetic music ensemble with a rotating lineup made up of some of Portland's finest artists. 

A trio featuring Mike Dillon (Les Claypool, Ani DiFranco, Rickie Lee Jones) on vibraphone, marimba, Prophet 6, congas, and bongos, Brian Haas (Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey) on Fender Rhodes, piano, bass Moog and melodica and Nikki Glaspie (Beyonce, Nth Power) on drums, cymbals and vocals, Punkadelick is the unified vision of six hands creating a world that often sounds like the work of an ensemble three times the size. 

Walking through the residential heart of Portland’s Mississippi district you’ll find a charming wooden house under the overcast Oregon sky. This local landmark is the home of soul legend Ural Thomas, built by hand with found materials decades ago. The basement is overflowing with musical equipment.

Yak Attack is a live electronic power trio. The band's music spans a wide variety of electronic genres (house, trance, breakbeat, drum, and bass) and mixes in elements of many other genres such as jazz, funk, and psych.
