Sam Moses: River Without a Cause at Columbia Center for the Arts

  • This event has passed.

On June 26th at 7pm, Columbia Center for the Arts is proud to host local author Sam Moses sharing excerpts and stories from his latest book, River Without a Cause. The book follows his journey down Theodore Roosevelt’s “River of Doubt” in Brazil with a diverse crew of adventurers, scientists, and indigenous leaders who explore the past, present, and future of a natural treasure few have seen.

Moses is a former senior writer for Sports Illustrated and the author of several books, including Fast Guys, Rich Guys and Idiots, At All Costs: How a Crippled Ship and Two Merchants Mariners Turned the Tide of World War II and It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This.

Don’t miss this chance to meet Sam before he embarks on his next adventure in Indonesia. Join us at 215 Cascade Ave, Hood River, OR, for an evening of exploration and inspiration. Admission is free, with donations appreciated.
