Join the Hood River All Lands Partnership on Wednesday, April 29th from 6:00-8:30pm for a free, family friendly program focused on how we can work together to reduce wildfire risk in and around Hood River. This will be an opportunity to learn about Hood River’s wildfire risk, explore strategies to increase resilience, as well as connect with local wildfire and natural resource organizations.

Community partners will be available to share information and answer questions, and attendees will receive a copy of “Before Wildfire Strikes: A Guide to Improving Wildfire Preparedness and Living with Fire in Hood River County”.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

-Explore wildfire risk in Hood River.

-Learn about the Firewise® program to improve household wildfire preparedness in the county.

-See efforts along the Indian Creek drainage to reduce wildfire hazards.

-Meet and greet with local wildfire agency partners.
