The Next Door Inc. Joins Millions Around the World in Celebrating Giving Tuesday

“The Next Door Inc. Joins Millions Around the World in Celebrating Giving Tuesday”

At The Next Door Inc. (TNDI), we envision a supportive community where all children and families are safe, healthy, and valued. In the last year alone, TNDI’s staff has grown to over 100 employees as our programs have expanded in response to the needs of our community. This month, we’re participating in Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving on November 28th to kick off our winter fundraising campaign.

Giving Tuesday unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and inspires people all around the world to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. The now global movement was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Whether it’s helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.

By participating in Giving Tuesday, The Next Door strives to build a community in which the power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together. Mark your calendars for November 28th, visit www.nextdoorinc.org/donate to make a donation on Giving Tuesday, and spread the word by encouraging family and friends to do the same as we join together to make a difference. We are so grateful for the role you play in supporting our mission and could not do the work we do without your support!

The Next Door Inc., (TNDI) the largest social service agency in the Gorge, was founded in 1971 to address the unmet need of support services for youth. Today, TNDI’s employees facilitate over 35 programs that strive to fulfill our mission of opening doors to new possibilities by strengthening children and families and improving communities in Oregon and Washington.
