Hood River, Ore. – January 29, 2019 – While there’s never a bad time to dine at one of Hood River’s acclaimed restaurants or pubs, this February there’s an extra-good reason to do so: The second annual Hood River Foodie February. This monthlong celebration of the Hood River Valley’s mighty food scene gives visitors and locals alike the chance to support local restaurants and discover some of the best food and menus in the agriculturally-rich region.
New this year is the Foodie February Sandwich Smackdown. Just for Foodie February, participating member restaurants are creating a unique specialty sandwich to ”compete” against the other Sandwich Smackdown offerings. Bring on the mouth-watering sammies, burgers, subs and more, each with its own local flair.
