Las Guaracheras: All women salsa band from Colombia

Las Guaracheras all women’s salsa band from Colombia performs at Columbia Center for the Arts on April 27th at 7pm. The dynamic group full of energy and style  will provide an evening of fun lively music and entertainment!
Las Guaracheras is a powerful Latin Music sextet from Cali, Colombia that performs Afro-Caribbean rhythms such as salsa, as well as music from the Pacific region of Colombia. Their compositions and lyrics revolve around the recognition of the role of women in the music industry – especially in the Latin Music scene – and seek to express the power and strength of women as sources of love, hope, resilience and creativity.
