on Ferment Lawn at the Hood River Waterfront
Going on it’s 20th Year, Kiteboard 4 Cancer brings together athletes, community members, volunteers, and sponsors each year to raise funds for programs that strengthen the health and resilience of the Gorge community through windsports on the Columbia River. Over two decades, KB4C has grown into one of the region’s most celebrated annual gatherings, built on the enduring power of community coming together for meaningful impact.
The main event is a 6-hour Derby Race of kiteboarding, wingfoiling and foil-of-choice –an exciting endurance race celebrating 20 years of windsports that embodies the struggle someone facing cancer battles each day.
Kicking off the weekend on Friday July 10 is the KB4C Kickoff Party on the Ferment Lawn — a free and open-to-the-public function with music, raffles and the Boards of Hope art auction. Throughout the weekend there will be Kids activities like the Duck Race and Art Tent, many raffles with opportunities to win all sorts of outdoor items, and lots of on-water excitement.
