Annual Community Holiday Tree Lighting and Street Festival
Head downtown Hood River for an evening of lights, music, food, shopping, and more! Walk through the streets and visit our local shops during the festival to get some of our holiday shopping done.
Our tree lighting will be held on State St. and 2nd St. The tree will be lit between 5:45-6:00 pm. The festival will be held 5:00-7:00 pm on Oak St. There are a variety of stores throughout downtown and something for everyone.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be joining us for photos. He will be up by the community tree from 5:00- 6:30 pm.
The streets will be closed 4:00-7:30 pm to vehicles on Oak St., 1st to 6th; 2nd St., State St. to Cascade Ave.; State St., 1st to 4th St.
Calling All Vendors and Businesses!
Vendors/Holiday Display Sign up today as a vendor or bring a holiday display (vehicle or trailer) for our December 4 festival! We will line the streets with handmade jewelry, 3D printed items, handmade lotions/balms, baked goods, and more!
Tree Sponsorship – Downtown Hood River is lined with lit holiday lights to be “Merry & Bright” this season. Your tree sponsorship helps us keep the trees lit November 21- Mid Feburary. Fill out the form to support our downtown tree lights.
Merry & Bright Window Decorating Contest– Dress up your business window and/or storefront in festive decor and beautiful twinkle lights this year. Please fill out the contest form, no later than Wednesday, November 25. Displays should be completed by Tuesday, December 1.
