Under the artistic direction of Dan Kenealy, Voci has been celebrated for its vocal artistry and commitment to creating unforgettable musical experiences. “Our Shared Humanity” is poised to continue this tradition by taking attendees on a remarkable journey through various musical genres and themes, exploring the rich tapestry of human expression through song.
This concert will feature a repertoire of world music, gospel selections and contemporary choral works based on the poetry of Maya Angelou, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Wendell Berry and Ogden Nash. The choir will also perform the world premiere of a piece commissioned by Tina Castañares of Hood River and composed by Mark Steighner.
