Join CGOA’s Jazz Collective Big Band and Frank Sinatra tribute artist Jamie Goetz for a swingin’ salute to Old Blue Eyes. Come on out and swing to the classics as the Jazz Collective, under the direction of Michael Paul, performs Sinatra favorites. Extremely Frank!
Frank Sinatra, often referred to as “Ol’ Blue Eyes,” was a legendary American singer, actor, and entertainer who left an indelible mark on the world of music and entertainment. Born on December 12, 1915, in Hoboken, New Jersey, Sinatra’s smooth voice and charismatic stage presence made him an icon of the 20th century. He crooned his way into the hearts of millions with timeless classics like “My Way,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” and “New York, New York.”
Tribute artist Jamie Goetz will be accompanied by the CGOA Jazz Collective Big Band, an 18 piece ensemble that will be playing the actual arrangements used by Frank Sinatra when he performed with big bands.
Tickets are $25 for adults ($15 for CGOA Members), $5 youth ages 10-17, and free for kids under 10. Tickets are available at gorgeorchestra.org. Special $5 tickets are available at the door for Oregon Trail/SNAP card holders through the Arts for All program.
