Wildcraft Experience at Mt. Hood Meadows

Wildcraft Experience at Mt. Hood Meadows

July 19, July 26, August 2, and August 9

1:00- 3:00 pm

Mt. Hood Meadows

14040 Highway 35

Join Meadows team member and local wildflower expert Jesse Eaton on a hike through our permit area to learn about wildcrafting: the practice of gathering plant materials in their natural, wild settings, primarily for culinary and/or medicinal purposes. Please note that these are solely educational hikes, as picking of wildflowers is prohibited in the Mt. Hood Meadows permit area. The purpose of this experience is to learn how to identify specific plants and gain knowledge about their medicinal and everyday uses, as well as to learn about foraging, growing these plants in your own garden, and how to be a good steward of the land. The cost will include your guide and a scenic chair ride lift ticket.
