Columbia Center for the Arts in partnership with Theater CamilleLynne Productions presents our next Teen Theater Musical production of Ride The Cyclone, music and lyrics by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell with music by Mack Yasui and directed by Tay Lynne. Ride the Cyclone is a darkly comedic and thrillingly theatrical musical, six high school choir members meet their untimely fate on a rollercoaster ride gone wrong. But in the afterlife, a mysterious mechanical fortune teller offers them a chance to sing for a second shot at life. What follows is a dazzling, heart-wrenching, and unexpectedly hilarious journey of self-discovery, fate, and the joy of making every moment count.
With an electrifying pop-rock score and a cast of unforgettable characters, “Ride the Cyclone” is a fast, funny, and deeply moving experience that will leave you breathless. Ride the Cyclone opens on June 20th at 7pm and continues on June 21, 27 & 28 at 7pm with a matinee on June 22nd at 2pm.
