Derek Hughes Stand Up Magician

Enjoy the thrill of professional magician Derek Hughes live on stage. The Hood River County Education Foundation is bringing this national performer to the Gorge on Saturday, April 12th. This special event will be held at the Hood River Middle School Historic Auditorium.

Mr. Hughes is a celebrated conjurer and lauded by audiences and critics alike, with the New York Times calling him “thoroughly entertaining.” Hughes is an America’s Got Talent finalist and has performed with Penn and Teller and appeared on MTV, VH1, Comedy Central and Ellen DeGeneres Show. He is also a producer of TRU TV’s hit magic series, “The Carbanaro Effect.”

This special presentation is a fundraising event to benefit the Hood River County Education Foundation supporting scholarships, classroom enhancement projects, and extracurricular activities that include after school care, swim lessons, sports, music and more support for low-income students.
