SUMMARY:County Line @ The Griffin House
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to welcome back one of Hood River’s favorite local band’s\, County Line! Please join us on Wednesday\, June 19th from 6:15-8:30pm for a lively night of blended folk\, rock\, Americana\, and bluegrass. \nWe are huge fans of County Line and wanted to add an additional concert to the calendar along with our 2023 Summer Concert Series. The concert will take place at one of our special locations (its a surprise 🤫). We will be providing some seating\, and please feel free to bring your blanket. \nTHIS CONCERT BENEFITS OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY \nWe strongly believe that supporting our local community is not only our responsibility\, but our duty as a local business. For that reason\, this concert is a not for-profit event. We aim to cover costs\, support our musicians and give the rest to local schools and organizations in the greater Columbia River Gorge community. We happily supported WINGS at our July 5th concert! The beneficiary of this concert will be The Next Door. \nSCHEDULE: \n5:30pm – VIP Doors Open \n6:15pm – General Admissions Doors Open \n6:30pm – County Line \nTICKETS: \n$10 general admissions pre sale\, $12 at the door. \n$25 VIP – Pre Event at The Griffin House\, a bubbly toast\, charcuterie\, & front row seating! Arrival at 5:30pm. \n\n\n\n\nCounty Line: \nCounty Line has been an establishment in the Columbia River Gorge since 2017. The band has brought original song craft\, folk-ladened harmonies\, fiery picking\, and a lively presence to stages throughout the local area. Songwriter Matt Mesa weaves his tales into a fabric that enshrouds the moving pictures and social discourse of this thing we call life. His songs are sometimes funny\, sometimes sad\, sometimes folly\, sometimes as biting as a paper cut. But they are always compelling and thought provoking. He is joined on stage by mandolinist and guitarist Kerry Williams and bassist Jeremy Hadden—both long time Gorge musicians and consummate pickers. Drummer Tim Ortleib rounds out and texturizes the music to a pleasant degree. Together\, the band blends elements of folk\, rock\, Americana\, and bluegrass into apleasure dome of sound and stories. Come see what all the fuss is about. \n\n\n\n\n\nFAQs:\nIs there a minimum age requirement to enter the event? \nNope! We’re family friendly and welcome all ages. Children 10 and younger are free to attend! \nMay I arrive early? \nPlease do not arrive before 6:15PM unless you are VIP. We ask this so we can finish sound check & set up for the concert. \nWill alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages be sold? \nYes\, we will have beer\, wine\, and non alcoholic beverages for sale. Absolutely no BYOB allowed. \nWill food be available? \nYes\, charcuterie will be for sale! \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? \nParking provided in the East lot beside The Griffin House – there will be signs marking the entrance (carpooling encouraged!). Walk WEST from there to the path to our grounds for the concert. \nHow can I contact the organizer with any questions? \nFeel free to reach out to suzi@thegriffinhouse.com with any & all questions! \nCan I get a refund? \nDue to the nature of these events we are unable to provide refunds. In the case you are unable to attend\, you may transfer your tickets.

SUMMARY:Paige Common Ticketed Dinner @ The Griffin House
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome Paige Common to The Griffin House for an Intimate Cliffside Dinner!\nJoin us for a multi-faceted dining experience centered around community\, seasonality and the terroir of the region. \nIt’s easy to be enchanted by the overlapping layers of Cascade Foothills and the never-ending expanse of Pacific Northwest Sky at this exceptional location set in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. Pair the dazzling views with a rare and extraordinary culinary experience\, live music by Nathan Lee Miller and you may wonder if you’re living in a dream. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Paige Common: \nDetroit born and bred\, Paige’s soul-spiced creations entice the palate; fold in a pinch of Portland inspiration\, and she exposes the nourishment of the land and sea. Paige specializes in curating vibrant\, flavor-forward menus with a focus on specialty diets. \nPaige is a functional nutritionist\, destination caterer\, and personal chef. Over the past ten years\, she has hosted intimate dining experiences from beachside to mountain-top\, while supporting and empowering individuals and families on their unique health journeys. \nWhen Paige isn’t in the kitchen\, find her traveling and tasting her way through flavor-rich cultures\, rock climbing\, and running through the gorge with her pup\, Zucchini. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNathan Lee Miller: \nNathan Lee crawled out of the Upper Michigan cedar swamps…and found his voice on the shores of San Francisco Bay. First carousing and carrying on in Motel Fresno\, then stepping out front with his own band Escanaba. After almost a decade of this life\, he lit out for the Pacific Northwest. Taking on a harder edge\, Survival Mode was his musical home until just before the pandemic. Signaling a sea change on many fronts\, where next to turn? With a glance toward his San Francisco past\, Nathan Lee is forging a new road ahead with just his guitar and voice. Parts Petty\, Tweedy\, and Jennings\, Nathan brings a fresh face to songs of love and hope\, tinged with the struggles of life’s challenges for good measure. \n\n\n\n\nA note from The Griffin House \nOur intention is to create an ephemeral and fleeting experience — a joyous celebration of food\, wine\, music and human connection. The dinner will take place on the Eastern Lawn with remarkable views of the Gorge as our backdrop\, however we encourage you to roam the property and take in the views before dinner begins. \nWe are capping this experience at 12 guests\, so we urge you to get your tickets ASAP if you wish to attend this magical event! \n\n\n\n\nFAQs\nIs there a minimum age requirement to attend the event? \nYep\, 14 year old and up. Email suzi@thegriffinhouse.com with all requests. \nHow can I contact the organizer with any questions? \nFeel free to reach out to suzi@thegriffinhouse.com with any & all questions! \nWhat is your cancellation policy? \nDue to the nature of this event\, no refunds or credits will be given if you are unable to attend.
