Teachers in the Hood River County School District have the opportunity to write a grant for funding special educational projects in their classrooms or for their school. \nThe projects funded are outside the regular school district budgeting cycle and create innovative ideas for enhancing education for their students. In 2023\, over $60\,000 was awarded with dozens of worthy projects going unfunded due to a lack of funds.
