DESCRIPTION:Columbia Arts proudly presents a special evening with guitarist and poet Hiroya Tsukamoto in concert (Cinematic Guitar Poetry) on August 13th at 7:30pm. Tickets for the evening event are available online at www.columbiaarts.org for $20. Hiroya has roots in Oregon and performed 10 years ago in conjunction with Hood River County Library. Hiroya is also offering a fingerstyle guitar workshop on the 13th at 5:30pm for $40. He will cover: \n“Cinematic Guitar Poetry” \nTsukamoto brings a blend of masterful fingerstyle guitar and evocative storytelling that transcends cultural barriers. His artistry\, honed at the prestigious Berklee College of Music\, has been celebrated on renowned stages like the Blue Note in NYC and the United Nations\, and lauded for its “delicate\, fluid\, and beautifully detailed” style by Acoustic Guitar magazine.
